Roadmap to Reentry is a valuable new resource for physicians and physician assistants seeking to return to clinical practice after an extended absence.
The Center for Personalized Education for Physicians (CPEP) and The Physician Reentry into the Workforce Project have collaborated to develop the “Roadmap to Reentry.” This comprehensive, 37-page booklet provides a wealth of useful material. This endeavor was funded by the Colorado Trust’s Convening for Colorado program. “Although many of the resources and contact information is specific to the state of Colorado, overall, this “Roadmap” is widely applicable beyond the state and for physicians and physician assistants in all specialties,” noted Holly J. Mulvey, MA, Co-Director of The Physician Reentry into the Workforce Project.
The information in the Roadmap was gathered through a convening process that attracted key leaders from state government, health plans, hospitals and hospital systems, rural and safety net provider groups, associations and not-for-profit organizations, medical defense insurers, medical educators, and private corporations. These participants contributed a wealth of useful information. Support for the Convening and the Roadmap was made possible through The Colorado Trust’s Convening for Colorado program.
